Help with trig arc angles! Can someone explain how the range and domain work when dealing with arc angles?

I'm having trouble understanding arc angles of the six identities (sin, cos, tan, cot, sec, and csc). I don't understand how the range and domain fit into the process of finding an angle of one of those six identites.
