My baby is been having a cough and congested chest, his temperature is not been normal, should we go to the er?

my son is 10 months old I took him to his pediatric and she give him medicine for the cough and congestion, and she also give him antibiotics, but his temperature is not lower then 100.1 and it goes up to 101.4 Im not sure what to do,
