How to re enter the church- and which religion?

That is horrible! Children should know about the love of Jesus Christ. Buy a Childrens Bible and read them some stories. We went to Church as kids/young adults as well but I stopped when I got to 18. I started again at 21 when it was my choice. You are not your parents so their guidance is up to you. Fear is never good.
