Does exercising hard and regularly prevent growth?

I'm sixteen, female and currently 5'8". My family has a history of growing slowly and steadily up until 18-20. I haven't grown, however, for about eight months and it would beneficial to my sport to make it past 5'9". I row/run/lift for 2.5 hours six days a week. Could this be preventing any storing up of energy for growth?
