How do I start my descriptive essay on my grandfather?

I saw my grandfather everyday, he lived with me. I did everything he ever asked of me and Its hard not having anyone sit at the table for hours doing the daily crossword puzzle. I'm not the best at writing, so does anyone have any ideas on how to start it?
