US needs Henry Kissinger again?

The US withdraw from Vietnam had little consequenses, Kissinger had the great idea of allied with a communist power (China) to decrease the Soviet influence, this worked and US retired their troops. At the end US lose the war but won the peace. In iraq what need US to do ? US needs kissinger again? With which middle east (muslim) power the US should do an alliance to get out from iraq? Iran? syria? other option?
