If I use a bigger crochet needle will it make doing the 3rd + rows easier and quicker?

Are you having problems getting your hook into the single chain or is the pattern getting more difficult? If the problem is with the smaller stitches start over again with the larger needle. If it is the pattern, the change of the needle wont make any difference.
