What should I do if I am doing poorly in my english cl?

I am a senior in college and I need just 2 literature cles to graduate. I am not doing good at the moment but she said it is just midterm grades from the test. This is the first time that I got a bad grade at midterms. She is one of those professors you can never really figure out I just wanted to know what could I do before it is to late. I got a tutor as well but it is not working out.
